The company says there are new updates and improvements for more rewards
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (March 8, 2018) – Troon, the leader in golf course management, development, and marketing, has revamped its industry-leading Troon Rewards Program to the benefit of Rewards Members.
Troon Rewards Members will now enjoy extended benefits such as a Points + Cash redemption option, points for instruction, and most significantly, no expiration date on points accrued. With all the changes, the program’s core concept remains – the more you play, the more you save – as golfers earn one point for every dollar they spend on their golf fees, golf instruction fees, club sponsored clinics and golf shop merchandise at participating Troon daily-fee facilities.
With the new Points + Cash option, Rewards Members can now redeem Troon Rewards points for a complimentary round of golf (in its entirety) or utilize the new Points + Cash redemption option that requires less points, combined with a nominal cash amount. This new option gives more flexibility on how Members wish to redeem their Troon Rewards points.
The new Troon Rewards Program also incentivizes golfers to improve their golf games by offering points for attending Group Clinics (25 points), Private Lessons (50 points) and Troon Golf Academy Schools (75 points per day). Plus, under the new Troon Rewards Program, points will not expire – provided that members have earned or redeemed Troon Rewards points in the last 18 months.
Once a Reward’s Member accumulates 500 points, points may be redeemed toward a complimentary round of golf, used with the Points + Cash option, or continue to be accrued to reach higher status levels. For each status level reached, Reward’s Members receive additional savings on their applicable golf fees at participating Troon facilities.
“We are very excited about the enhancements we’ve made to what is already golf’s most popular loyalty program,” said Kris Strauss, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Troon. “The improvements provide new and exciting benefits to Rewards Members, ultimately leading to more flexibility on how Troon loyalists can earn and redeem rewards.”
Troon Rewards is golf’s largest loyalty program with more than 500,000 members. In 2017, Troon Rewards Members spent more than $31 million on golf fees, merchandise and more at participating Troon facilities. Since launching the Troon Rewards Program in 2003, participating Troon Rewards locations have awarded more than 85,000 rewards rounds to Troon Rewards Members.
Troon Rewards participating clubs are located in 21 states and 20 countries and include some of golf’s most iconic destinations, including: Kapalua on Maui, Hawaii; Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples in Florida; Abu Dhabi Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates; Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, California; Port Royal Golf Course on Bermuda; and Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Troon Rewards Members also receive special offers, invitations to exclusive events and Callaway® promotions. Plus, thanks to a new partnership with Golfweek, Troon Rewards Members will receive a one-year subscription to both digital and print editions of Golfweek Magazine (a $25 value).
