Golf Advisor rankings recognize The Wilderness at Lake Jackson golf course
LAKE JACKSON, Texas (July 28, 2018) – Just months following the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey, The Wilderness at Lake Jackson continues to be recognized for its excellence as one of the best courses to play in the region. This year, it was once again honored by Golf Advisor in their list of top-rated courses in the U.S. according to costumer reviews.
Golf Advisor is the leading source of golf course ratings and reviews by golfers. Golf Advisor ranked the top-rated courses in the country during the first quarter of 2018 according to customer ratings and reviews awarding The Wilderness at Lake Jackson No. 7 for exceeding golfer’s expectations.

The Wilderness at Lake Jackson made national news during last year’s life changing flood when the agronomy team, in an attempt to save the maintenance equipment and cart fleet, strategically placed each vehicle around a putting green on the highest point of the property. The teams forward-thinking accelerated the clean-up and recovery of the golf course quickly achieving the conditions its customers come to expect while saving the golf course almost $1M dollars in maintenance equipment.
The Wilderness Golf Course has established itself as an award-winning championship golf course.
