Fusing elevated golf wear with athletic basketball style that transcends the course
CARLSBAD, California – PUMA Golf introduced a new apparel lineup developed in collaboration with PUMA Hoops called, “In the Rough.” Inspired by the love of two games, golf and basketball, PUMA Golf x PUMA Hoops have merged to produce a collection rooted in street culture with an expression of toughness and grit as well as elevated golf style that can worn both on and off the course.
Consisting of a full lineup of apparel including basketball-style golf shoes, polos, wind vests, tee shirts, hoodies, shorts, joggers, layering, caps, and visors, the IN THE ROUGH collection also includes women’s items, a golf dress and racerback polo.
The collection features the IN THE ROUGH logo, a stylized cat, or “In the Rough,” wording in a retro, street-style font.

The IN THE ROUGH collection from PUMA GOLF x PUMA HOOPS will launch Monday, June 26th at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, bringing together PUMA’s Golf and Hoops athletes to a unique activation space that fuses both sports. The launch featured a green turf basketball court complete with baskets, where fans will be able to shoot some hoops while watching a PGA Tour event.
PUMA athletes Rickie Fowler, Justin Suh, Jason Dufner, and NBA Slam Dunk Contest Winner Mac McClung, enjoyed some friendly competition on the unique court before McClung showed off his basketball skills.
