This year, Pizá Golf unveiled new designs for the highly anticipated TGL presented by SoFi, an innovative golf league founded by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and TMRW Sports.
The revolutionary holes, designed by Agustín “Augie” Pizá, redefined the boundaries of creativity and strategy, combining real-world landscapes with virtual technology. The launch marked a bold new chapter in the firm’s reputation for merging artistry with technology.
Additionally, during TGL’s recent media day featuring stars like Rickie Fowler, Augie Pizá participated in exclusive interviews to discuss his visionary contributions to the league. The event also showcased the unveiling of the official TGL trophy, a moment that symbolized the exciting future of this groundbreaking initiative. In Aguascalientes, Mexico, Pizá Golf unveiled Zitara Ciudad Residencial and Golf Club, a 200-hectare master-planned community featuring an 18-hole championship golf course with illuminated night-time amenities. The innovative design emphasizes well-being and redefines modern living by seamlessly integrating residential, commercial, and recreational spaces.
In 2024, Pizá Golf officially registered Butterfly Golf, a revolutionary concept offering 24-hole layouts divided into themed zones. Symbolizing freedom and sustainability, Butterfly Golf combines immersive design with environmental stewardship, showcasing Pizá Golf’s commitment to evolving the sport while honoring nature.
Pizá Golf expanded its community impact through initiatives like First Tee Mexico, which provides underprivileged children with access to golf and life-skills training on championship courses. Other projects, such as the “Happy Tree” at Tampico Country Club, showcase the firm’s dedication to sustainable practices by using recycled materials and preserving natural landscapes.
