New partnership will focus on player development opportunities in the Philippines
FRISCO, Texas –The PGA of America has formed a strategic alliance with Hann Holdings LLC, a South Korean-owned operator of leisure and hospitality businesses in the Philippines.
Hann Reserve, a landmark development in New Clark City, will stand across a 450-hectare property incorporating an array of luxury accommodations, hotels and resorts, three 18-hole golf courses, clubhouses and, later, a mixed-use commercial center, premium villas and residences, as well as a 10-hectare public park.
The project will feature the first PGA Golf Academy in the Philippines, scheduled to open in mid-2025.
To drive sustainable growth-of-the-game efforts, the golf facilities will offer player development and youth programming spearheaded by PGA Professionals, as well as utilize marketing opportunities to attract golfer tourism to the resort.
“We’re excited to partner with the Hann Group,” said PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh. “Their enthusiasm to partner with the PGA of America–not only to enhance golf tourism in the Philippines but to also support our mission of growing the game globally and positioning PGA Professionals in roles of influence–provides a fantastic opportunity for us to positively affect the game of golf in the region.”
“The PGA of America name is recognized around the world and from here will rise the next premier destination for golfers,” said Mr. Daesik Han, CEO and Chairman of Hann Holdings LLC. “Our goal is to cater to both local and foreign golfers and enthusiasts by providing them a world-class venue that can be expected of the PGA brand.”
