Enables more accessible tee time booking, increased utilization
LOS ANGELES, California – The Noteefy automated tee time demand system is now available across 45 golf courses operated by American Golf, including 20 in the Los Angeles County market.
Noteefy provides American Golf with a digital booking assistant that is customized for each course and makes finding desired tee times significantly easier for golfers. The product is integrated into the course’s existing website and provides real-time availability alerts for golfers based on their personalized playing preferences.
Golfers can also select multiple courses in the American Golf portfolio to increase their probability of a match by joining the standby list at dozens of courses at a time. More than 50% of the rounds generated thus far by Noteefy have originated at another course in the portfolio.
When the desired tee time opens due to a tee time cancellation or new release, golfers immediately receive a text and e-mail, then book per the normal process. 100% of the booking fee business goes back to the course with no added fees for the golfer.
“Los Angeles County is the busiest market for public golf in the United States,” said Rick Crowder, Head of Revenue Management of American Golf. “We know there has been frustration by golfers with accessibility, and our partnership with Noteefy highlights our commitment to enhance golfers’ experiences. At the same time, we are seeing a major spike in utilization, particularly from cancellations inside three days.”
Since Launching Noteefy in September 2024, thousands of golfers have used the product to book 5,885 rounds at American Golf courses with $130,000-plus in revenue generated from cancellations inside 48 hours.
“As a Los Angeles County native and avid public golfer, there is tremendous fulfillment to help make the game more accessible to play in the local market,” said Jake Gordon, Founder and CEO of Noteefy. “We know there are bad actors with bots and brokers, and this partnership highlights the importance of technology to make tee time access more equitable.”
