The Hypegolf Invitational returned to the U.S. at the prestigious Sand Canyon Country Club in Los Angeles on June 12, bringing together a diverse community of artists, creatives, musicians, casual players, and professional golfers on the course.
Against the scenic backdrop of Angeles National Forest, the full-day event offered an immersive experience filled with friendly contests, captivating live DJ sets, and interactive activations.
Notable personalities, including Macklemore, Roger Steele, Hayden Sylthe, and Stephen Malbon, were among the attendees who came out to enjoy the event. The Hypegolf Invitational provided a unique platform for the Hypegolf community to come together and embrace a progressive approach to the sport.
The highly anticipated event returned with its exciting 18-hole tournament, with Samsung Galaxy leading the way in energizing players through warm-up games and memorable photo opportunities.
Along the course were a range of challenges, surprises and activations brought by top brands such as Psycho Bunny, Corona Premier, eBay, PGA Tour 2K23, New Balance Golf, YETI and PXG.
This year, the tournament also introduced a nine-hole course that invited casual players to learn and immerse themselves in the sport with the latest golf gear.
Beyond the game itself, the Hypegolf Invitational curated an Outdoor Plaza hub that celebrated style, art, a culinary experience and music. Attendees were treated to an exceptional showcase of artwork from Los Angeles-based artists, while DJ Black Noi$e, Pedro Cavalier and Gonnie Garko provided vibrate sounds throughout the day.
A diverse range of food and beverage trucks were present, such as Ggiata Delicatessen, LOVE HOUR, Double Dragon, Open Market, Tacos 1986, Wanderlust Creamery and Droplet. Notably, the ‘Puppy Pilates’ session, a collaboration with the charity organization Puppies and Golf, brought a delightful element to the day.
The event concluded with a happy hour event where participants and spectators enjoyed refreshing beverages and celebrated the accomplishments of their fellow golfers during an unforgettable award ceremony.
