Downtown Brooklyn’s newest “Night Out” destination offers state-of-the-art indoor golf experiences, full bar, elevated menu
NEW YORK, New York — Golfzon Social has launched its newest state-of-the-art gathering spot – in the heart of Brooklyn. Golfzon Social is the creation of Golfzon, the global leader in golf simulator innovation; and Troon, the golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services leader.
Designed to appeal to golfers and non-golfers alike, Golfzon Social features a stylish, energetic yet comfortable atmosphere, strikingly decorated with mural work by local Brooklyn artists, an elevated chef-driven menu, hand-crafted cocktails and a craft beer selection. Industry-leading audio visual design also makes Golfzon Social Brooklyn’s freshest destination for fans of sports, food and fun.
The 18,000-square-foot venue with 16 simulators at the base of 11 Hoyt Street brings a unique opportunity for customers to play 240 simulated courses meticulously mapped by Golfzon from around the world, including Bay Hill, St. Andrews, Pebble Beach, Kiawah Island, Harbour Town, PGA National and more… all to be experienced in downtown Brooklyn.
Golfzon Social is home to a fully “hand-crafted” experience where everything is lovingly designed by the team – from the software and hardware used in the simulators created by Golfzon to the food, beverage, and hospitality experience provided by Troon.
RealFood Hospitality, Strategy & Design, a core Troon operating brand, designed the menu to bring people together. It includes shareable appetizers that are familiar, approachable and golf-friendly, as well as larger meals suitable for a date night or business meeting – all with a chef’s twist.
This “home grown” approach enables Golfzon to continuously add new courses; exclusive games for non-golfers, kids and families; and menu items inspired by customer feedback and requests.
“With Golfzon Social, we set out to create a venue for fun, entertaining experiences any time of day that exceed expectations – and the Brooklyn location takes even that to the next level,” said Sean Pyun, CEO of Golfzon America. “Whether it’s experienced golfers, sports fans, clubs, working professionals, organizers of charity tournaments or weekly leagues, or simply groups of friends looking for something fun to do in town, we’re excited to be able to bring Golfzon Social’s unique style, groundbreaking technology and amazing food and drinks to the neighborhood here in Brooklyn.”
As part of Golfzon Social’s expansion to New York City, the 11 Hoyt location is launching a partnership with the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development that will include a golf clinic pilot for students and their families that are part of the Ingersoll House Community Center.
This new Cornerstone program will teach the game of golf to participants across a range of experiences, and position Golfzon Social to be an accessible, relaxed space for New Yorkers of all ages.
Non-golfers and first-timers can try their hand at the simulators in a non-intimidating, welcoming setting or enjoy the festive atmosphere, drinks and elevated menu.
Golfzon’s proprietary Two-Vision simulators are unlike any of its competitors’ in that they feature high speed camera sensors that capture club head and ball flight data for realistic performance feedback, a 24-way directional moving swing plate that recreates true stand and lie conditions, a convenient touchscreen monitor kiosk, and a virtual caddie to give players advice.
The system also boasts strikingly realistic graphics and an LED putting guide to read greens.
