FORT MYERS, Florida — The Club at Renaissance will begin a multi-million dollar capital infusion project in 2025 via a long-planned strategic investment from Concert Golf Partners.
The upgrades will focus on the Club’s iconic clubhouse, which was built in 2003. There will be a refresh that will expand the dining spaces and elevate the ambiance of the front door and main dining areas. In addition, new wine lockers will be designed for members, as well as a new bar and fixtures.
In addition, the upstairs terrace area will be screened in to allow members to enjoy a scenic view of the Arthur Hills-designed golf course.
Based near Orlando, Concert Golf Partners is committed to acquiring the finest clubs in the United States and enhancing the member experience through ongoing reinvestment and premium service. Concert Golf achieves this through consistent annual capital investment aimed at enhancing amenities, service levels and the overall member experience, while building and maintaining a thriving club environment with no assessments.
Currently, there are 35 upscale, private clubs in the Concert Golf portfolio, including nine across Florida, such as the newly acquired Golf Club of the Everglades (Naples) and Marsh Landing Country Club (Ponte Vedra). Across America, Concert also features clubs such as Gaillardia Country Club (Oklahoma City), Glen Oaks Country Club (Des Moines), TPC Jasna Polana (Princeton, N.J.), and The Club at Pasadera (Monterey, Calif.).
Concert Golf acquired The Club at Renaissance in 2022.
“With Concert Golf based in Florida, we strongly believe it’s important to further our long-planned reinvestment in The Club at Renaissance, as our heart goes out to our community in their recovery from the recent hurricanes,” said The Club at Renaissance General Manager, Rick Rainville.
“Our members will cherish a more usable and inviting space that will make the facility truly best-in-class. They’ll be able to enjoy more of the clubhouse, and dine in the indoor-outdoor space on the terrace, with the best views of the 18th hole, practice green and 10th hole.”
The Club at Renaissance is widely considered one of the very best in Southwest Florida. It is a low density club, with wide ranging tee time availability for our members, who play at their leisure, as there is neither a Chelsea system nor a lottery for tee times.
The 7,248-yard, par 72 golf course designed by Hills is challenging, as it carries a 75.9 rating and 155 slope, with its rolling fairways and lakeside vistas. However, there are seven sets of tees that allow members to choose the length and difficulty that best suits their skill level.
The Club at Renaissance has recently received some impressive reviews:
“Whether you’re a golf aficionado, a culinary enthusiast or someone seeking an inviting and vibrant community, The Club at Renaissance stands as a testament to its commitment to excellence. Its rich history, exceptional amenities, and dedication to providing an unparalleled lifestyle make it a sought-after destination for those seeking the finest in Southwest Florida living.”— Country Club Magazine
“Renaissance offers an intimate experience for both club members and residents. The centerpiece of the community is the Arthur Hills designed championship golf course, which is regarded as one of the best courses in South Florida.” — “The Club at Renaissance: A Low Density Club in a High Density State”, The Golfin’ Guy – David Theoret
