Top club fitter’s first Scottish store provides more than 50,000 club combinations
GLASGOW, Scotland – The motherland of golf is joining the Club Champion family in 2023. The globe’s top club fitter and builder announced the opening of a new fitting studio located at Unit 2, 14 Buccleuch Av, Hillington, Glasgow, Scotland. The store is open and accepting fitting appointments.
This is the first location in Scotland for Club Champion, who also has partnered affiliations in Canada, England, and Australia. Club Champion acquired the UK-based club fitter Golf Principles in early 2022.
“We’re thrilled to finally open a Club Champion location in the birthplace of golf,” said Adam Levy, CEO of Club Champion. “With this Scotland studio, we can continue lowering the scores of golfers in this serious golf community through better equipment.”
The new studio features two indoor hitting bays with TrackMan launch monitors for analyzing performance, a SAM PuttLab to find the perfect putter, and a build shop for repairing and assembling golf clubs by hand.
The roughly 5,000-square foot space also includes a demo matrix of head and shaft options that make up over 50,000 hittable club combinations from over 40 brands, including Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, Cobra, Srixon, Golf Pride, and many more.

Scarr is new to the Club Champion team in 2023. Following over 30 years in customer-driven international retail leadership, Scarr aims to bring his experience to help Club Champion to continue to connect with the avid golfing clientele and the larger golf community around the world. Scarr was educated in Southampton with an MBA from the City University Business School in London.
The custom fitting team in Scotland is led by Joe Hughes, the new site manager and Master Fitter at the studio in Glasgow. Joe has spent over 20 years in the golf industry experience and has experience as a player on the Scottish Tartan Tour. His Tour-level fitting expertise is a welcome addition to the new Glasgow location and to the Club Champion team at-large.
