LAKEWOOD RANCH, Florida – Calusa Country Club, a new Gordon Lewis-designed 18-hole golf course opened for public play on Feb. 1. Calusa Country Club is a Lennar Homes development, and part of the award-winning Lakewood Ranch community.
Lewis seamlessly incorporates elevation changes and contours in the 18-hole championship layout, creating a masterpiece of beauty and playability. The new course features Tif Eagle greens, Bimini fairways, and beautiful white sand bunkers. Water comes into play on all 18 holes, providing both challenge and visual appeal.
Additional golf amenities include an aqua range and short game practice area.
Future golf amenities include a putting course and a 12-hole course (also designed by Lewis).
