FRISCO, TEXAS – THE PRO, a new competitive golf brand and tournament series that brings together professional athletes from the four major sports leagues, has announced the names of additional active and former NFL players who will join the field for its first tournament of the 2025 season, THE PRO FTB, hosted at PGA Frisco from March 21-23, 2025.
A pair of reigning Super Bowl champions in Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott and punter Braden Mann are slated to tee it up fresh off their victory celebrations. This group will join a mixture of Hall of Famers and gridiron greats like John Elway, Terrell Davis, Jerome Bettis, Andre Reed, Matt Ryan and more as they ready themselves for a challenge on the links.

THE PRO FTB player field also includes new commitments from Derek Anderson, Mason Crosby, Patrick Dimarco, Garrett Graham, Steve Hauschka, Chris Hetherington, Brett Kern, Mike Leach, Ryan Leaf, Golden Tate, and Kyle Williams.
This brings the total field to 40 players with additional players to complete the field of 54 to be announced prior to THE PRO FTB.
“Everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes the legends of the game who are coming to compete at PGA Frisco this March,” said Nick Clark, GM of THE PRO. “After an incredible start with THE PRO CUP in December, we’re seeing that momentum carry over as we fill out a one-of-a-kind, star-studded field of the best current and former NFL players for THE PRO FTB.
“That includes players who just competed at the highest level in New Orleans, and we know they’re ready to take that energy to the links in a little more than a month.”
Players will compete in a three-day modified Stableford format contested on the Fields Ranch East Course at PGA Frisco. The announced prize purse for THE PRO FTB is $400,000, and there is no cut for the 54-man tournament.
Today’s additions join a talented, deep field that includes Tim Brown, Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, Dwight Freeney, Brian Urlacher, Patrick Peterson, Kordell Stewart, David Binn, Terrell Buckley, Brice Butler, Josh Dobbs, Eric Ebron, Kyle Fuller, Jermaine Kearse, Fred McCrary, Jason Myers, Marcus Pollard, Andre Roberts, Josh Scobee, Ryan Succop, Bryan Walters and Eric Wood.
THE PRO FTB comes on the heels of the successful launch of THE PRO CUP, the inaugural event for THE PRO and a team match play competition hosted at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla., in December.
Four teams of 12 players from the worlds of baseball, basketball, football and hockey competed in a Ryder Cup-style match play event at Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course between Dec. 12-14, where Team BSB prevailed to win THE PRO CUP.
THE PRO mirrors other professional golf events with two early week practice rounds, a Pro-Am that pairs four amateurs with professional athletes, and three days of tournament competition.
Additional events spotlighting baseball, basketball and hockey will round out the full 2025 tournament schedule with the second installment of THE PRO CUP planned for early 2026. Exact dates and tournament sites will be announced later this year.
All events from THE PRO are open to the public with daily and weekly tickets available for purchase at theprorivalsopen.com. Children under the age of 15 and active-duty U.S. military and veterans receive complimentary admission.
