NEW YORK – SiriusXM has announced the addition of a new show to its 24/7 golf channel, SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio, hosted by former PGA TOUR players Johnson Wagner and Brendon de Jonge.
“The Wagyu Filet Show” debuted on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio on Jan. 6, and air Mondays throughout the year at 8:00 pm ET. Wagner and de Jonge will share experiences and stories from their careers as both players and broadcasters, as well as their perspective on the latest news and events from the TOUR.
“The Wagyu Filet Show” joins a SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio lineup that features some of the most entertaining voices in golf. Some programs on the channel are expanding their timeslots starting today.
“5 Clubs on SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio,” hosted by Gary Williams, is expanding to three episodes a week and moving to mornings (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) from 8:00-9:00 am ET. The show previously aired Monday nights on the channel.
“A New Breed of Golf,” hosted by Michael Breed, also expands from a two-hour to a three-hour show airing weekdays from 9 am to noon ET.
Breed is followed weekdays by “Gravy and The Sleeze,” hosted by Colt Knost and Drew Stoltz from noon to 2:00 pm ET, “Inside the Ropes,” with Carl Paulson and Dennis Paulson from 2:00-5:00 pm ET, and “On Tap with Katrek and Maginnes” from 5:00-7:00 pm ET.
“The Starter,” hosted by Taylor Zarzour, airs every weekday morning starting at 7:00 am ET.
SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio also features unique exclusive shows hosted by some of the game’s great players, including World Golf Hall of Fame member and 10-time major champion Annika Sorenstam, 2009 U.S. Open Champion Lucas Glover, and six-time PGA TOUR winner Rocco Mediate.
Mediate also teams up with rock legend and avid golfer Alice Cooper for their exclusive show, “Rolling the Rock.”
Jason Sobel, Chantel McCabe and David Marr III contribute to the channel as show hosts and during live event coverage.
