“The Club at Cordillera is an amazing property with a wonderful membership, many of whom we’ve had the pleasure of serving for a dozen years,” said Troon President and CEO Tim Schantz. “We’re excited about the future of The Club, its long-term sustainability and for the opportunity to continue to provide an outstanding membership experience. Finally, thank you to Dr. Jeffrey L. Rush and the ownership group for allowing Troon to be stewards of this incredible community for many years to come.”
On the heels of a multi-million-dollar two-year renovation of the Valley Club completed in 2023 (including new pool, pool pavilion, clay tennis courts, pickleball courts, and fitness center), Troon will invest in a bunker renovation in 2025 on the Tom Fazio-designed Valley Course.
In addition, the entire management team and all employees will continue in their current roles, including (but not limited to) general manager Michael Henritze, assistant general manager Jack LoBiondo, director of agronomy David Soltvedt, director of membership and operations Allyson Mason and executive chef Daniel Woodbridge.
“This is an exciting announcement for everyone involved with The Club at Cordillera, including members, employees and community partners,” said Henritze, who has served as The Club at Cordillera’s general manager since the beginning and as a Troon associate for over 20 years. “From the day Troon set foot on property, the company has brought stability and a pursuit of excellence to The Club. Now as sole owners, Troon’s unwavering commitment to quality and passion for service will seamlessly continue.”
