DALLAS – The ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour has announced its 2025 season schedule. The 2025 season features 13 total tournaments, including four new markets.
The purpose of the ANNIKA WAPT is to provide a structured platform for aspiring female golfers to engage in high-level competition and simultaneously prepare themselves for successful careers as professional golfers.
The new season will begin April 4th and conclude September 7th at the Tour Championship, where the top athletes of the Callaway Race to Qualifying program will be recognized
“The ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour continues to grow, offering more playing opportunities for our athletes,” said Abai O’Neill, Tournament Manager of ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour. “We are excited to get the new season underway and visit new areas of the country.”
New markets in 2025 will include Fort Smith, Arkansas, St Louis, Missouri, Denver, Colorado, and the Destination Grapevine Texas Women’s Open. The tour’s thirteen (13) events will visit nine (9) different states.
APRIL
The ANNIKA WAPT will open its season with back-to-back events in Louisiana. The Coke Dr. Pepper Open (April 3-5) will kick things off in Alexandria. In 2020, Jessica Porvasnik (current LPGA Tour Member) won the tournament with a 14 under par total. The tour then moves south to Lake Charles for the Lake Charles Championship at L’Auberge (April 9-12). Last year’s event was one for the books, as Hailee Cooper took home the title for her first of three wins of the 2024 season.
For the third event of this opening stretch, the tour will head to Natchez, MS for the Taco Bell Natchez Classic (April 16-18). Natchez is known for its rich history in the Magnolia State and is home to Beau Pre Country Club, who welcomes back the ANNIKA WAPT for the fifth year.
MAY
After a two-week break, the schedule will resume in Fort Smith, AR for the United Way Classic (May 7-9), held at Hardscrabble Country Club. Although this event is a first-timer for the ANNIKA WAPT, the All Pro Tour (APT) has seen this fan-favorite for the past five (5) years.
“We have enjoyed hosting the men and have seen some amazing golf”, says Hardscrabble General Manager, Cole Wasinger. “But the membership is excited to welcome women’s professional golf and the ANNIKA WAPT.
The tour moves to Texas for the fifth and sixth events. The Abilene Women’s Open (May 21-24) in Abilene, TX, will again be hosted at Abilene Country Club’s North Course. The tournament draws fans from all over the region and the West Texas hospitality is second to none.
Staying in the Lone Star State, the ANNIKA WAPT will partner with Northern Texas PGA to host the Destination Grapevine Texas Women’s Open (May 28-30) for the first time. Set to be held at Grapevine Golf Course in Grapevine, TX, the Texas Women’s Open will award the top two finishers with two EPSON Tour event exemptions, a first for the event.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Northern Texas PGA and the Destination Grapevine Texas Women’s Open. The TWO has quickly become one of the premier state opens in women’s golf,” said Gary DeSerrano, K&G Sports Managing Partner. “We feel that this strategic alliance will not only enhance the field of the Destination Grapevine Texas Women’s Open but add another wonderful event to the ANNIKA WAPT schedule.”
JUNE
The tour ventures to the Midwest in June. The ANNIKA WAPT welcomes a new addition to the schedule in the St. Louis Women’s Championship (June 19-22) at Whitmore Country Club. Annika Sörenstam won four LPGA events in St Louis, the last victory coming in 1999 at the Michelob Classic.
The following week, the tour travels north to Central Illiniois for the OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois Championship (June 25-28th) in Peoria, IL. Described as a ‘Mini-Tour Event Like No Other’, the OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois Championship will be a dual-tour (APT and ANNIKA WAPT) event played at Metamora Fields Golf Club and WeaverRidge Golf Club.
JULY
July will be the host of three events, starting with the familiar Texarkana Children’s Charities Open (July 9-12). The tournament will be played at Texarkana Country Club, also known as the ‘Augusta of Texas’. 2023 tournament winner Bi Shin is no stranger to the top of the leaderboard, as she went on to win two more events in the 2023 season and currently plays on the EPSON Tour.
Up next is the Green Country Behavioral Health Services Real Okie Championship (July 16-19) in Muskogee, OK. Located in Eastern Oklahoma, Muskogee Golf Club is a traditional course lined with mature trees, undulating fairways and bent grass greens that will challenge any player’s short game.
Closing out July, the ANNIKA WAPT venture west to the Rocky Mountain State for the Colorado Championship (July 29- Aug. 1). The tournament will be held at Todd Creek Golf Club, located just north of Denver.
George R. Hanlon Jr., Owner and Operator of Todd Creek Golf Course said, “Todd Creek is poised to host an incredible week of golf. We are certain our membership and community will embrace the opportunity to showcase Colorado Golf. Good Creek will provide a challenging and fair test for the ANNIKA WAPT professionals.
AUGUST
After a short summer break, the tour travels back to eastern Oklahoma for its penultimate event, the fourth annual FCA Women’s Championship (Aug. 28-30) held at Indian Springs Country Club in Broken Arrow, OK. Recognized as one of the premier golf venues in the Sooner State, the course generally proves to be a tough test with six under par (-6) being the current tournament record.
SEPTEMBER
To conclude the 2025 season, the ANNIKA WAPT will make its way north to Wichita, KS for the Heritage Classic Tour Championship (Sept. 4-7) at Rollings Hills Country Club. Known as the ‘Birthplace of the LPGA’, players have their last attempt to climb into one of the top five Callaway Race To Qualifying spots. Hailee Cooper, won her third tournament of the 2024 season with a course-record tying 63 in the final round of the Tour Championship. The win solidified the number two spot on the Callaway Race To Qualifying points list and earned her an exemption to Stage Two of LPGA Qualifying.
Memberships for the 2025 season open on Dec. 15 and tournament registration opens on Feb. 19 for the Coke DR Pepper Open.
