Nine past Memorial Tournament winners featured in stellar field that has combined to capture 28 major championship titles
DUBLIN, Ohio –Tournament officials have announced the final field for the 2023 Memorial Tournament presented by Workday. The contingent of 120 players features nine past winners of the Memorial and is led by reigning FedExCup champion Rory McIlroy, and 2022 PGA TOUR Player of the Year and current world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.
The 2023 Memorial Tournament presented by Workday will be held May 29-June 4 at world-renowned Muirfield Village Golf Club, and will mark the 48th edition of the prestigious invitational Jack Nicklaus started in 1976. Three-time major winner Larry Nelson is the Tournament Honoree.
The list of top-10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking competing includes No. 1 Scheffler, No. 2 Jon Rahm (the reigning Masters champions and 2020 Memorial Tournament winner), No. 3 McIlroy, No. 4 Patrick Cantlay (2019, 2021 Memorial Tournament winner), No. 5 Xander Schauffele, No. 6 Viktor Hovland and No. 9 Matt Fitzpatrick, the reigning U.S. Open champion.
The top players in the FedExCup standings who have committed include No. 1 Rahm, No. 2 Scheffler, No. 5 Jason Day, No. 6 Cantlay, No. 7 Keegan Bradley, No. 8 Wyndham Clark, No. 9 Schauffele and No. 10 Kurt Kitayama.
In addition to Cantlay and Rahm, other past Memorial winners returning to Muirfield Village Golf Club include 2022 winner Billy Horschel, Hideki Matsuyama, Jason Dufner, K.J. Choi, Matt Kuchar, David Lingmerth and William McGirt.
Other notable entries include major championship winners Stewart Cink, Lucas Glover, Zach Johnson, Shane Lowry, Francesco Molinari, Colin Morikawa, Adam Scott, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Danny Willett and Gary Woodland. The field has won a combined 28 major titles.

Through Wednesday, May 31 Any-Day Practice Round tickets will be sold at the entrances gates, near Hole Nos. 6, 10, 13, 15 and the Main Entrance Gate off Memorial Drive. Weekly Patron Badges will be sold at one on-course location, the Main Entrance Gate. All transactions are cashless.
Free Junior tickets are available in advance with a valid badge purchase or at all entry gates during Tournament week for kids 18 and under (must be accompanied by a ticketed adult).
